Ann Arbor SPARK Names Amy Cell Director, Talent Acquisition

Amy CellAnn Arbor SPARK, the driving force in establishing the Ann Arbor region as a destination for business expansion, retention, and location, today announced that Amy Cell has been named director, talent acquisition. In this new role, Cell will manage Ann Arbor SPARK’s talent-related initiatives, including programs to attract, develop and retain managerial, professional and technical talent that will drive innovative businesses in Washtenaw County. 

Prior to joining Ann Arbor SPARK, Cell served as senior associate director, Office of Student Life, at the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.  With 10 year’s experience in human resource management, Cell has extensive experience and expertise.

Cell earned a bachelor of business administration and master of business administration degree from the University of Michigan.  Cell’s 10 years of experience in recruiting, talent development and other human resources programs for companies, including Ford Motor Company, SRI (formerly known as the Stanford Research Institute) and Applied Biosystems, will help her identify and fill regional talent needs.

Cell is an active community volunteer, having served in a leadership capacity for many organizations, including the Ross School of Business Club of Southeast Michigan, Junior League of Ann Arbor, Washtenaw Elementary Science Olympiad, King Elementary PTO and the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program.
